One took her hands and declared, “Everything we are, we owe to you.” Another pulled a small silver key from her pocket and placed it in Emily’s trembling palm. “This car is yours, Mama Emily. And this is just the beginning.”
A gentle voice added, “We bought you a house. You will never know hardship again.” Emily broke into tears. All her sacrifices, her long nights of work, her silent devotion… had turned into a blessing.
