Mom, diagnosed with brain cancer after losing 3 children in a tragic crash, and who welcomed triplets a year later, passes away at 48

“It took me over four years to come out of the fog and pain of what happened. The first three years of raising the triplets, you have this mix of joy and happiness, and at the same time, you’re in pain on the inside. There’s these three babies, and they’re all joy… But at the same time, I was trying to avoid falling apart in front of them. I’d go into the other room and cry real quick and come back and put a smile on my face.”

Friends and acquaintances described Lori as nothing short of extraordinary. She was, above all else, a devoted mother. Her presence radiated warmth, patience, and love. “Everybody who knows her, loves her,” a close friend said. “First and foremost, she’s a mom.”

The Return of Heartbreak

Life seemed to have offered Lori and Chris a second chance, until June 2025, when Lori began showing unusual symptoms. What started as minor clumsiness — bumping into walls, dropping objects, stubbing her toes — escalated over weeks. By early July, stroke-like symptoms emerged. Chris noticed her mouth beginning to droop slightly, a sign too serious to ignore.
