My Husband Moved Into the Guest Room Because He Said I Snored — but I Was Speechless When I Found Out What He Was Really Doing There

“Thank you,” he said, barely above a whisper.

“You don’t need to thank me,” I said, turning to him. “Families aren’t perfect, Ethan. But they have to be honest.”

He nodded, eyes full of something like hope.

That night, he didn’t go to the guest room.

He came back to bed.

There was no pretending or lies, just the two of us in the dark, side by side like it used to be.

I listened to the sound of his breathing and realized I wasn’t waiting for the other shoe to drop anymore.

“Hey,” he whispered.

“Yeah?”

“I’m sorry for all of it.”

“I know,” I said. “But you have to promise me something.”

“Anything.”

“No more secrets. From now on, we face everything together.

Good or bad.”

He squeezed my hand under the blanket. “Together.”
